This website is dedicated to the Ghavami and Sahebdivani families of Shiraz and tracks the descendants of Ghavam ol din Hassan, minister of the 14th century Muzaffarid dynasty, after whom the house of Ghavam ol Molk was named. Its purpose is to serve as a place for exchange of family related information. Although some of the content of this website is freely accessible, the Genealogy information is accessible via user name/password only. • April 29th, 2023: It is with profound sadness that I share with you the passing of my mother, Gohar Malek Ghavami, at the age of only 78. Today, on April 29th, 2023, she finally lost her battle with AML Leukemia which she fought for so long with grace and courage and never let on what she really was feeling and thinking inside. I will miss our daily calls, her jokes, her humor, her perspective on life and I will always remember her for her love and devotion to the family, her appreciation of nature and her support and generosity to those less fortunate, especially kids. Although her absence in our lives going forward will be difficult to bear, she will always be in our hearts and minds with fond memories.
