  	Majid Yekan With the heaviest hearts we announce the passing away of our beloved Atoosa Samiian Yekan on Sunday morning (9/26/2021) after about 3 years battle with the devastating and incurable disease of ALS. Atoosa passed away at UCSF surrounded by her immediate family Iden Yekan , Andia Yekan and Majid Yekan. We are in deep shock as it happened so suddenly and unexpectedly but she passed away peacefully. Atoosa was the best partner, wife, mother, sister and friend to all of us. Our world has a huge void with her passing. She touched so many lives. She lived life fully and as she wished. We will announce the arrangement details for funeral and Celebration of Life for her soon. - Yekan, Samiian, Izadi, and Ford families. From Facebook post
