website is dedicated to the Ghavami and Sahebdivani families of Shiraz and tracks the descendants of Ghavam ol din Hassan, minister of the 14th century Muzaffarid dynasty, after whom the house of Ghavam ol Molk was named. Its purpose is to serve as a place for exchange of family related information. Although some of the content of this website is freely accessible, the Genealogy information is accessible via user name/password only. Should you want to access the genealogy portion of this website, and you don't have an account, please follow the register for an account link to register

- August 17th, 2019: It is with profound sadness that I share with you the untimely passing of my father, Dr. Parviz Ghavami, at the age of 83. His generosity, deep empathy towards others and kindness were key to his friendship with everyone he met. His sense of humor and appreciation for life were unforgettable. He is sorely missed.
